Once again as part of my ongoing project of photographing old toys I have discovered a lot of my old My Little Pony's in my parent's garage. Such a quintessential 1980's toy I had to add it into the collection.
This is just the start of them so they may not be as creative and graphic as I want them to be but I'm OK with that; this is just a test shot.
Here is a TTV Photograph that I made on Valentines Day.
I went to Venice Beach to watch the sunset and there was this cute couple on the hill that I was sitting on all snuggled up together. I know it is a bit more difficult to see but still...this photo is about how it makes me feel.
I made this photograph the first day I came to California when I was sitting outside of the coffee shop. Yes, I made it a point to bring my Duaflex and light blocking foam core so that I could continue my TTV's.
I have intentions on making many many more. I forgot to bring my Duaflex to Venice Beach today. I am going to return there often before I leave though so I hope that I can make many more.
So I actually have been working on this project. It's just that it is soo much fun to look and find these toys and then play with them rather then get into the actual photograph. So I found a few Care Bears in the spare room at my parents house. This one was purchased for me since my birthday is in March (clearly that means I like shamrocks or something...I don't really though.)
Either way here is a new TTV Photograph to add to the mix.
I cannot believe that I let this blog sit for so long without any love. It's not like I have been so crazy busy that I cannot tend to it...
As a little offering to those who read it and periodically check back to see what new 'Through The Viewfinder' creations are floating around in my mind I give you two new photographs; a variation on a theme if you will.
